MOSCOW, Sep 14 (PRIME) -- The Yareganeft oil mine belonging to oil major Lukoil collapsed in Russia’s Komi Republic on Thursday killing one person, a spokesperson for the Emergency Ministry’s local branch told PRIME.
A total of 109 miners were underground at the moment of incident, including six people in the emergency area.
Lukoil confirmed the incident and said its reasons were being investigated.
